Key to their success was Sunshine Coast Lightning training partner Charlie Bell, who proved near unstoppable at goal shooter for the Thunder, showcasing remarkable skill and precision throughout the match.
The clash against Bond University was particularly intense, with Mia Stower of the Bull Sharks making an impressive 16 Super Shots from 19 attempts in a valiant effort to narrow the gap. Despite Bond’s spirited comeback attempt, the Thunder maintained their composure and held on to their lead, ultimately sealing the win with a six-goal margin.
